I am a dreamer, a creator, a thinker. I’ve always got something brewing. Whether it’s the ongoing concept for my someday renovation of my fireplace, or an idea for a new way to market for my business…there are way more things rattling around in my brain than I can ever get a handle on. The result can be admittedly chaotic…but I like to think it’s part of my charm!
Aesthetically, I like things to be layered, personal, gathered over time and maybe just a little bit bohemian. My home is ever evolving (as time and budget allow), with a list of projects dating out for years to come. A mid-century modern in what surely must be the most community oriented, creative (and party-centric) neighborhood in Tulsa, my husband and I have lots to do to make this great home even better (and you’ll get to see it here!). We share our home with 3 dogs, 3 cats and operate on a beer budget; so change comes slowly and with a certain set of limitations – a tough pill to swallow for someone with minimal patience and big dreams!
On a a sunny day, the patio, a glass of wine and a book is my favorite way to unwind, but when it’s really time to veg out (or in the depths of winter) I confess, I am a total TV junkie. My husband is a chef, so my favorite night of the week is Sunday (when he can get away from the restaurant) – we cook a nice meal, pull from his collection of vinyl and enjoy a night of catching up, wine and good music.
I love the word Hive as part of our project. A hive is an active, engaged place where many participants work towards one common goal. I like to think of our team as busy little bees out there gathering inspiration for you.
