I hope everyone had a 4th of July weekend that was just exploding with fun (safely, of course)! Mine sure was. It was spent photographing the DIY project for the next issue of the magazine (can’t wait for you to see it; it’s so cool and easy!), celebrating my college roommate’s precious daughter as she turned 2, a quick roundtrip to the IKEA in Dallas (look for a before and after of my bedroom featuring my new purchase in the near future), cooling down in the pool, and stuffing myself at yummy, yummy BBQs. Full of friends, fun and sun – just as it should be!

The 2nd best thing about a 3-day weekend? The 4-day work week that follows! But if you are like me, you are scrambling to finish in 4 days what you need the full 5 days to accomplish. So in hopes of keeping the spirit of last weekend alive to get me through this week, here are a few items that make me dream of those beautiful fireworks:
I spotted these Bull’s Eye Silk Pillow Covers a couple of weeks ago and instantly thought of my favorite holiday!

Happy Short Work Week!

I’m kinda sorta really in love with that clock and think it may be the missing piece in our living room!
