Prairie Hive Mag, Issue 4, came out the first of December. As many of you can probably agree, that is just about the busiest month of the year! Maybe you haven’t gotten a chance to check it out….I mean, I am just NOW getting to the Issue 4 Color Pop.
This was a beautiful home in Tulsa’s midtown area. It was full of character that included the great wood ceilings, plaster walls, and a mix of contemporary and traditional furniture.
The color palette for the home was very simple and earthy. While keeping the plaster walls very neutral, your attention is drawn to the beautiful colors in the art work that pepper the walls throughout.
The combination of the dark green, rust, gold, and berry red colors provide a very warm and inviting space. Even though they are dark colors they are balanced nicely with the high ceilings and neutral walls.
