Ahhhh, basketball. My favorite sport! And there is a rumbling in the air ’round these parts lately. For those of you who aren’t big sports fans, the NBA playoffs are in full swing, and our very own Oklahoma City Thunder are in the midst of the storm, also known as the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder leads the series 3-2. Which means that tonight’s Game 6 (at 8:00pm) is a big one! If they win tonight, they advance to the NBA Finals. The excitement level and the “Thunder Up”s are heightened in our state. You’ll have to understand that the OKC Thunder, previously the Seattle SuperSonics, is Oklahoma’s only professional sports team and we’ve only had them to cheer for since 2008, so things get a little intense when we are winning!

Dawn is a commercial interior designer who has worked on the East Coast before recently returning to her home state of Oklahoma.
