It’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to go garage- or estate sale-ing (I’ve been out of town… or country… but more on that soon!). Luckily, this past Saturday there was an estate sale near my house, so I made a quick stop in between errands. Being the second day of the sale, everything was 25 percent off and mostly picked over. But there was one thing that caught my eye. Why wasn’t this adorable canister set not snatched up already?! Oh well, everyone else’s oversight is my gain! I snagged this deal for $18.75 before anyone else could realize what they were missing out on. These will look great in my green-painted kitchen!
With my newest find under my belt, I’m now really looking forward to Vintage Market Days here in our area – Bixby, OK – coming up this weekend to see what other treasures I can find. There will be antiques, art, furniture, and handmade goods (including booths by our very own Roxanne at Minnie Marie and our friend Bifftastica)! I’m on the lookout for some specific pieces for my home, and have high hopes of finding just what I need here. Come on out and see what kind of deals you can find!
