For the past few years my husband and I have gone to Silver Dollar City the day after Thanksgiving.  No black Friday shopping for me.  It’s full on, “get into the spirit of Christmas”.  I grew up going to SDC with my family.  It’s a quick 4 hour drive away and it is full of yummy food, rides, shows, a cave you can walk through, and complete Christmas cheesy-ness….in a good way!  The park this time of year has over 4 million lights, a Christmas parade with Santa, a 5 story tall Christmas tree.  It’s awesome!  While we were there this year, I took this video (while carefully sipping my hot wassle) of my favorite song to share with you.  Click the link below and you can view it (tried forever to figure out how to embed it……no such luck!  If you happen to have any tips on that feel free to comment!!!)

And finally, from a local, John Mitchell has a festive Christmas song available on iTunes.  It is “Snow Coming Down”.  You can download it for $0.99 on iTunes (as well as hear a snippet).  It was released on August 8th but just became downloadable a couple of weeks ago.
